Differences in trophic structure and trophic pathways between artificial reef and natural reef ecosystems along the coast of the North yellow Sea, China, based on stable isotope analyses

چکیده
Artificial reefs have been employed to promote enrichment of degraded habitats communities and support local fisheries. To better evaluate the performance artificial reefs, simultaneous comparisons with relatively undisturbed natural nearby are essential. With inclusion stable isotope method characterize compare ecosystem functioning for two reef systems, both trophic structure flow at an a evaluated in present work. We found that: 1) macrobenthos fish can be clustered into five groups each site, similar grouping configurations structures, 2) energy pathways from basal resources between reef, although pathway magnitudes may spatially different. elucidate comprehensive viewpoint, we reconstructed general model up fishes where pelagic based on POM benthic either Chlorophyta or mixture microphytobenthos, identified. conclude that has established years those provided by ecosystem. In future, call specific compartments combination ecology community structure, understand development systems.

Energetic differences between bacterioplankton trophic groups and coral reef resistance.
Coral reefs are among the most productive and diverse marine ecosystems on the Earth. They are also particularly sensitive to changing energetic requirements by different trophic levels. Microbialization specifically refers to the increase in the energetic metabolic demands of microbes relative to macrobes and is significantly correlated with increasing human influence on coral reefs. In this s...
متن کاملHuman Disruption of Coral Reef Trophic Structure
The distribution of biomass among trophic levels provides a theoretical basis for understanding energy flow and the hierarchical structure of animal communities. In the absence of energy subsidies [1], bottom-heavy trophic pyramids are expected to predominate, based on energy transfer efficiency [2] and empirical evidence from multiple ecosystems [3]. However, the predicted pyramid of biomass d...
متن کاملon translation of phatic communion and socio-cultural relationships between the characters of the novels
phatic communion is a cultural concept which differs across cultures. according to hofstede (2001), the u.s. tends to have individualistic culture; however, asian countries tend to have collectivistic cultures. these cultures view phatic communion differently. in individualistic cultures like u.s., phatic communion reflects speakers’ socio-cultural relationships in conversations. to see whether...
